About Me

Santuary
I'm 14, a Dhampir, and in love with Lorcan Furey. My twin brother's name is Connor, and he's living his own life now. Currently I'm a healer at Santuary, where I'm doing my best to heal all the Pirates and Nocternals injured in the war. It's hard work, but I love it.

Obsidian Darke

It's odd. The Captain just...isn't the Captain anymore. That whisper, the mask...he had a very soothing preasance. Obsidian, well...he may be the same person, but he seems to have a different personality. Maybe it's just the war. Maybe, when this is all over, he'll go back to normal. I never imagined he'd look so handsome, though.

When I first saw him on The Vagabond, I got a sense that he seemed somehow familiar, and I guess now I know why.

Captain Somper though, now he's good looking. They've got nothing on my Lorcan though :p

A Little Sea Shanty

I found myself humming Dad's old shanty this morning. It's been months since I last remembered it. I guess seeing Dad and Mom again made me not need it so much anymore. I wonder if Connor ever thinks about it?

I'll tell you a tale of Vampirates,
A tale as old as true.

Yea, I'll sing you a song of an ancient ship,
And its mighty fearsome crew.

Yea, I'll sing you a song of an ancient ship,
That sails the oceans blue...
That haunts the oceans blue.

The Vampirate ship has tattered sails,
That flap like wings in flight.

They say the captain, he wears a veil
So as to curtail your fright.

At his death pale skin
And his lifeless eyes
And his teeth as sharp as night.

Oh, they say the captain, he wears a viel
And his eyes never see the light

You'd better be good, child- good as gold,
As good as good can be.

Eles I'll turn you in to the Vampirates
And wave you out to sea.

Yes, you'd better be good child- good as gold,
Because- look! Can you see?

There's a dark ship in the harbor tonight
And there's room in the hold for thee!
(Plenty of room for thee)

Well, if pirates are bad,
And vampires are worse

Then I pray that as long as I be
That though I sing of Vampirates
I never one shall see.

Yea, if pirates are danger
And vampires are death

I'll extend my prayer for thee-
That thine eyes never see a Vampirate...
...and they never lay a hand on thee.
It's funny. The song was created by the Vampirates, or rather, the Nocturnals, to scare off anyone who was curious about them. Now, everyone knows Nocternals exsist, and are even willing to fight side by side with them. War is a funny thing...

My Lorcan...

It feels like it's been forever since I saw Lorcan. I know why Obsidian is keeping us apart, but it doesn't make this any easier. I remember the first day I met him; the day he rescued me from the sea. It almost seems like it's been years since then, but I know it hasn't been that long. Sometimes I wish we could go back to the days where we wandered the empty deck of The Nocturne just before the sun would rise. We'd never stay out until it did, of course. Lorcan was blinded by the sun once, I never want him to go through that again...

Oh, and I drew a picture of him. Isn't he handsome?

My First Platinum Healing

Life at Santuary hasn't been easy. Today I was assigned my first Platinum healing - a Nocternal. See, the levels of injuries are measured by metals. Gold is the most severe, and Platinum is one under it. It took a lot out of me, but I was able to rid him of his pain, and in the process I found out it was Olivier. I hadn't seen him in so long, and with his face burned like it was I didn't recognize him at first. Hopefully when he fully recovers he can help with the healings. Being in the middle of a war...it's hard on us all.
